Dr. Hahn has extensive experience working with the life-span population and is well-known for her compassionate and warm manner with families and her patients as well as her ability to identify the “missing piece to the puzzle” through her comprehensive neuropsychological evaluations and clinical acumen.

 

Dr. Hahn has developed a collaborative approach with fellow providers (e.g., pediatricians, psychiatrists, neurologists, psychologists, occupational, speech and physical therapists), teachers, Child Study Teams (CST), and attorneys/advocates. As a result, Dr. Hahn’s personalized style of interaction with families and collaboration with providers results in a unique and invaluable experience for her patients. Throughout the span of her career, Dr. Hahn has amassed experience in the clinical diagnosis and treatment (e.g., ABA interventionalist in family homes and community settings) of both adults and children with a variety of neurodevelopmental and acquired conditions including Autism Spectrum Disorder, epilepsy, concussions, Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), and learning disabilities. She worked in patient clinics and private practices within New Jersey, Connecticut, New York, and Florida.

During her training at the University of Florida and Yale University as well as in private practices, she specialized in pre- and post-surgical neuropsychological evaluations of pediatric and adult epilepsy patients as well as pediatric cancer patients who were undergoing chemotherapy treatment. Dr. Hahn also provided assessments of learning disorders and developmental disabilities in addition to working in Parkinson's and Alzheimer's Disease Clinics. She is experienced in providing Independent Neuropsychological Evaluations (INEs) for families and school districts. Within the past 10-years, Dr. Hahn chose to specialize in working with the pediatric population, primarily working with children ranging from age 4 through early adulthood.

Always interested in and desiring to contribute to the latest research to better understand her patients’ needs, Dr. Hahn has co-authored many chapters on topics, such as independent educational evaluations (IEE) for students, rare disorders, such as Maple Syrup Urine Disease, and Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).  Dr. Hahn has co-authored several posters on the topics of epilepsy and non-epileptic seizures as well as executive function in pediatric epilepsy patients, presenting the latest research at conferences.

Dr. Hahn has been licensed in New Jersey since 2008 and in Florida since 2015. She is a member of the New Jersey Psychological Association (NJPA), Morris County Psychological Association (MCPA), International Neuropsychological Society (INS), and the American Academy of Clinical Neuropsychology (AACN). Dr. Hahn received a master’s degree and a Ph.D. in clinical psychology with a specialization in neuropsychology from Fairleigh Dickinson University. She completed her clinical internship at the University of Florida and post-doctoral fellowship in neuropsychology at Yale University. She is one of five board certified clinical neuropsychologists in the state of New Jersey with dual board certification in the subspecialty of pediatric neuropsychology.

Dr. Hahn is a long-time resident of New Jersey and is originally from the Philadelphia area. She resided and practiced in Florida for several years as well. Dr. Hahn lives with her husband, four children, ranging in age from 15 to 6, and a large goldendoodle named Buddy. She enjoys homeschooling and chauffeuring her children to their many extracurricular endeavors. Beyond family time, Dr. Hahn relaxes while gardening, reading, and volunteering in her community.
